North Island Junior Secondary Schools Satellite Volleyball Tournament

The team started the tournament with a win over Whitby High School 2 – 0, then a win over Rongotai College 2 – 1.  Next came St Patrick’s Silverstream with a win to us 2 – 0.  Our last game in pool play was against Wainuiomata High School, a game we lost 2 – 0. However, our effort was enough to see us make the top 2 for our pool and top 8 in the competition. 

We then played Naenae Boys’ High School, but lost focus and lost the game 2 – 0. This placed us in the lower 4 of the top 8.  Our next game was against Porirua College, which we won 2 – 0. Our last game was against Tawa College for 5th or 6th place. We played well, but couldn’t finish and unfortunately, ended up losing 2 – 1. This meant that we placed 6th overall.
