Seven of the nine swimmers who performed very well in the Division 2 Swimming Nationals by PNBHS

Division Two Swimming Nationals

During week 4, nine PNBHS students competed in the Division II Club Swimming Nationals held in Wellington. Across five days of racing our boys achieved countless personal bests and qualifying times for the upcoming Short Course Swimming Nationals to be held in August.

The following students won medals at the meet.

Macauley Drummond - won Gold in the 200m butterfly, Silver in the 100m butterfly and Bronze in the 400m individual medley.

Eric Wong - won Gold in the 200m freestyle, Gold in the 400 individual medley, and Silver in the 1500m freestyle.

Jack Rowe - won Silver in the 200 individual medley and Bronze in the 200m freestyle.

Sam Rowe - won Gold in the 100m Individual Medley, 400m freestyle and 50m freestyle. Sam also won Bronze in the 200m individual medley and 100m freestyle.

The following swimmers also swam very well, with all making at least one final and many finishing in the top five.
