PNBHS Concert Bands Support Food Bank

Week two of Term 4 provided a final opportunity for our Concert Bands to show what they had achieved during the year and how much progress has been made individually and collectively.

This annual community event to support the Salvation Army Food Bank was well attended, providing three shopping trolleys of provisions and a substantial pile of gold coins to a very worthy cause.

This was a great evening of music with the Year 9 Band, Symphonia, Senior Concert Band and Stage Band all presenting short programmes of a wide variety of styles, including an audience singalong to Sweet Caroline.

With over 120 students involved, this event showcased the value of our classroom concert band programme and the skills and efforts of our students and our stunning [very patient] team of instrument tutors.
