Congratulations to the 1st XI Football team who retained the Kerrisk Cup courtesy of their 3 - 3 draw with St. Patrick's Kilbirnie earlier this term. Captain Ben Mori was presented with the shield in assembly. 

Congratulations to the Junior A Football team, who won the Scott Shield tournament in Hamilton during the last school holidays. Captain Mahiro Hada was presented with the Scott Shield in assembly.

Our Student Librarian team is almost complete. Congratulations to Ethan Shingleton, our Deputy Head Librarian, who is already a School Mentor! We welcome our new members, Reuben Houlahan, Luke Cherrington, James Downing, Blake Massicks, Daniel Maas and John Gourlay. Kester Lucas has worked hard to cover 100 books. Well done! Year 9s may apply for selection in October when the seniors go on Study Leave.

The Library is pretty busy as usual, both as a social space and for class use. We have heaps of new books including great Graphic Novels so come in and browse, or use our online catalogue via the Library tab on STRATUS to have a look.

Our NO DEVICES policy has increased the number of boys chatting to each other, playing card games or just reading quietly instead of sitting glued to their laptops. We are reasonable and offer permission slips to those with a genuine need to work, plus there are 20 desktop computers for general use.
