Library News

We welcome back our volunteer team of Student Librarians, and have received applications from interested Seniors, who are now being trained. Eli Hancock has been appointed as our Head Student Librarian and Locky Hooper is the Deputy. Congratulations!

The Library is open all day from 8:10am to 4:30pm and is very well used by students and classes. There are a number of computers and a colour printer, to help students research and do their assignments plus we have cards, board games and guitars to entertain our regulars – not to mention a decent amount of books (both fiction and non-fiction)! Each student gets $7.00 credit at the beginning of every term for school-related printing and photocopying. If they need more, they can pay $5.00 via online banking to the Finance Office.

Our catalogue is available online through Stratus’ Library tab so have a browse!

The Graphic Novel collection is heavily used and we have multiple copies of the popular titles. Students may read these during Sustained Silent Reading.
