Vex Robotics by PNBHS

Vex Robotics Success

Nakul Lakhani, Peter Hughes, Aaron Cane and Andrew Buchan competed in the Middle School division of the New Zealand VexIQ national championships held recently in Palmerston North. The team acquitted themselves admirably, coming third in the teamwork competition, third equal in Driver skills and won the Create Award. This award is for creativity in the design of their robot. As a result of their achievements Team 2903A has qualified for the World Championships in the USA – either in person or as a Live Remote Tournament. Congratulations to these young men, this is great reward for their commitment and hard work.

Pinnacle Programme by Pinncale Programme

Pinnacle Programme - Hyundai New Zealand

The Hyundai New Zealand Pinnacle Programme enables and inspires youth to be the next generation of global and community leaders.

"The programme is for 15-18 year olds looking to develop their skills and leadership abilities. Hyundai NZ Pinnacle Programme supports youth who are passionate about art, science, business, sport, music, film, performing arts, the environment or politics by providing a personalised mentoring experience.

We fund participants on two iconic NZ leadership programmes - 'Spirit of Adventure' and 'Outward Bound'. Students also have the opportunity to encounter ‘Kai Waho’ a unique Maori cuisine, cultural and wilderness experience in addition to specialist workshops.

Once part of the Hyundai NZ Pinnacle Programme family, successful students are connected to alumni, networks and possible mentors to provide guidance and pathways. We are looking for motivated students striving to excel on the world stage or lead significant change."
