Congratulations to Arahan Pilkington and Torrence Cheung who have been selected for the New Zealand Secondary Schools' Orchestra.  The NZSS Orchestra was announced in late 2021 after prospective members submitted audition videos.  Arahan has been selected as first trumpet and Torrence as first violin.  Covid permitting, Arahan and Torrence will attend a week-long workshop in Christchurch during the April school holidays, which will culminate with a concert performance.

Congratulations to Prefects Leo Xu and Vealata Tongati'o who have been selected in the New Zealand Secondary Students' Choir. As selection into the NZSS Choir is for a period of two years, recent Old Boys Grayson Lodge, Sebastien Cave and Tom Varney are also part of the choir for 2022. Over the summer break, they attended workshops and performed in Whangārei, Waitangi and Kerikeri.
