Blood Donor Day

A huge thank you to all of the young men and staff who were involved with our first Blood Donor Day for 2023.  Donating blood is a fantastic service to the wider community, one that can literally save someone else's life and we hope that being involved at school will be the start of a lifelong habit.  Sixty donations were successfully made on the day, a great contribution.

In particular, well done to those young men for whom this was the first time they had donated blood.  Doing so puts most of us outside of our comfort zone and these youn g men are to be commended for the courage they showed to get involved.

We will be holding a further Blood Donor Day on Tuesday, August 15.
