PNBHS Board of Trustees News

At the February Board of Trustees meeting the board Chairperson Mr. Michael Lawrence (right in the photograph above) tendered his resignation. Mr. Lawrence has provided 13 years of service to the school as the Old Boys representative on the BOT, with 12 of those years in the position of Chairperson. This is a demanding and time-consuming role and we thank him for both his time and expertise. Mr. Lawrence has provided outstanding leadership, especially during the significant financial and other challenges that the school has faced as a result of the Covid pandemic.

Congratulations also to Mr. Grant Watts (left in the photograph below), who was unanimously appointed as the new BOT Chairperson. Mr. Watts has had a long association with PNBHS having had four sons attend and has been a member of the BOT for the last 17 years. He has worked extensively with our International Student and Property subcommittees. Mr. Watts has a genuine passion for PNBHS and we wish him well for this important new role.

Alongside the Rector, our Board of Trustees members also include Mr. Bevan Erueti, Mrs. Jodi Jamieson, Mr. Tony Mafi, Tane Neilson (student representative), Mr. Simon O’Connor, Mrs. Anna Stephenson and Miss Sue Taylor (staff representative).
