AgriSports Competition

Thank you to Feilding High School for hosting us recently for the annual AgriSports competition.  25 two-person teams from Palmy Boys’, Feilding High School and Rathkeale College completed a diverse range of modules covering topics such as riparian planting, a bee quiz, fruit sugar analysis, artificial insemination, class harvesting, wheelbarrow race, health and safety, wool classing, handpiece maintenance, cow anatomy, fencing and disease Identification.

At the conclusion of the modules, the three highest-scoring teams competed in the final, with the PNBHS team of Jack Aitken-Cade and Nicolas Verry making the top three.

The final consisted of two rounds of quickfire questions. The boys won the final and were the overall winners on the day. All of the boys were awesome and represented the school well on a beautiful day in Feilding. Thanks again to Feilding High School for hosting us and to all the businesses, sponsors, FHS students, and staff who made the day happen. We even got sausages for lunch!
