Following grading games, the Under 14A rugby team has been placed into the Youth 1 grade for 2020.  The PNBHS under 15 B team also compete in this grade. The regular season has started well with comfortable wins over Whanganui Collegiate and Waiopehu College. The team is improving each week and there is definitely the potential in the side to have a very successful season.

The Junior 7, 8 and 9 Rugby teams play in the Youth Four grade of the Manawatū Secondary Schools competition.  It is fantastic to see so many young men playing and enjoying their sport.  Of note this year we have an increased number of students who are playing rugby for the first time.  

Thanks to Mr. Bruce Buckley and Mr. Stu Fleming, for giving up their time to help our staff coach these teams.  It was a real privilege to have a training session with former Turbos Assistant Coach Mr. Greg Fleming.  We really appreciate the willingness of people in the community to give their time for our young men.

The games played to date have been close and we are looking forward to an enjoyable and competitive season.
