Manawatū Secondary Schools Orienteering Championships

Thirty boys lined up to represent the school at this year's Orienteering champs, held once again in the Esplanade. This year's secondary schools boys' course was particularly challenging covering about 4 km, assuming the competitors ran in a straight line (one of our boys covered 9kms!).

Several quick times were eliminated having missed a peg or got some out of order. PNBHS had 7 runners in the top 10 athletes:

1st - Filip Martin in 31.30

2nd - Ben Irwin in 32.18

3rd - Jacob Lean in 33.20
