DELF Scolaire Examinations

Congratulations to the ten Year 10 and three Year 11 French students who, respectively, completed the A1 and A2 DELF Scolaire examinations last term. All students passed with grades ranging from 60-92%. The Alliance Française presented students last Friday evening, with their certificates of participation along with a small gift and a break-down of their scores for the individual sections of the examination. The official Diploma Certificates will arrive from Paris, France early next year and will be presented in an assembly.

DELF Scolaire is a challenging, internationally recognised and accredited four-levelled qualification that tests listening, reading, speaking and writing, with all answers written in French. It gives our students an extension to NCEA and a qualification that could enable them to study in a French university.

Well done to these thirteen students who put in extra study and attended the lunchtime workshops to aid in their preparation for the examinations.
