Skating Success for Ben Shirley

Congratulations to Year 11 student Ben Shirley who competed in the World Skate Oceania Roller Skating Championships during the September school holidays. The competition was held, for the first time in three years, in Whanganui. Ben won three gold medals - Cadet Figures, Cadet Solo Dance and Cadet Quartet - and became the Oceania Champion. Fantastic results and a reflection of his hard work and dedication.
