Year 10 Students Leo Brebner and Josiah Lo represented New Zealand at the VEX IQ Robotics World Championships in Dallas, Texas, earlier this term. Competing for Rovers Robotics the duo won the Middle School VEX IQ Robotics Nationals in December to earn the right to represent New Zealand. For a second year running Leo and Josiah combined a very technical high-spec well-engineered robot design with brilliant driving and teamwork to make the Divisions Finals. After Ten rounds of Qualification matches and a Finals match over three long days, they finished a respectable 7th in their Division. 

Tuesday morning assemblies, organised by our Prefects and including presentations and performances by a diverse range of young men and groups, are always busy.  Thanks to everyone who has presented reports on school activities, album reviews, movie reviews and to all of the performers.
