General Information

An Out of Zone ballot is generally held once a year for students turning five between January and December of the following year. The school’s ability to offer placement is dependent on class numbers at the relevant year level. Successful applicants will need to start on or near their 5th birthday. Enrolment cannot be postponed to the following term or year.

Out of Zone Applications 2025

Applications for the 2025 ballot are now open.

Our Out of Zone ballot will be held in October 2025 for children born in 2021 and turning five between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2026. 

All out of zone students due to start school in 2026 MUST be in the ballot in October, even if they have a sibling already attending Point View School. Applications will close on Wednesday 8 October 2025. No further applications can be taken after this date.

The ballot draw for 2026 will be held on Wednesday 15 October 2025. All applicants will be advised of the results in writing by either email or post by Wednesday 29 October 2025.
