Message from Head of Union and PPCB Board Chair

Kia ora PPCB Whānau,

We are delighted to announce that PPCB will be continuing as the bespoke union we always set out to be. We want to thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for principals.

We are all taking a brave, bold step to ensure that we add value to the principal collective bargaining. Our team is passionate about working on your behalf. It is clear to us that NZEI and PPCB both want the same thing - the best outcome for all principals but PPCB remains focussed on “ by principals for principals,” to achieve those outcomes.

If you are a member of both the PPCB union and NZEI, you can nominate only one organisation to be your collective bargaining agent.  PPCB Union will assume that we act as the Collective Bargaining Agent for all current fully-paid members of PPCB Union unless you advise us otherwise.

Currently, we are updating our website and will let you know when this has been completed. We will also be emailing you the claims. These claims reflect your voice and priorities, they are for you by you.
