More than 50 staff across PSS have been acknowledged for their long service to the organisation - including one staff member who has worked for PSS for more than 30 years. 

Times may have changed at PSS, but after 30 years with the organisation, Shona Craigie still loves her job.

Shona, a caregiver at Peacehaven Village, says she loves looking after the residents and seeing them happy.

Shona was one of more than 50 staff acknowledged for long service; with staff celebrated for five, 10, 20, 25 and 30 years with the organisation.

PSS Chief Executive Peter Wards said the Long Service Awards were designed to recognise and celebrate loyalty.

“Our staff really are the biggest strength of our organisation,” he said.

“There is such a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion within our staff. It is fantastic that we can recognise those who stay with us for so long, along with their continued high quality of work.”
