Peacehaven Village resident Jack Hickson (pictured with Invercargill Mayor Tim Shadbolt and Invercargill Town Crier Lynley McKerrow) celebrated a very special birthday in July, turning 103. 

Jack celebrated the occasion with a high tea at Peacehaven, attended by his family and Invercargill Mayor Tim Shadbolt, as well as a party with family and friends. He claims the secret to his old age is hard work.
