Buddy Programme Coordinator Rosanne Wybrow and Big Buddy Lloyd Esler address the crowd at the PSS AGM by PSS

Annual General Meeting

Presbyterian Support Southland’s 97th Annual General Meeting was a chance to reflect on another positive year of making a difference in the lives of children, families and older people in Southland.

In a new move this year, the AGM was preceded by an overview of the organisation for staff, followed by the Long Service Awards, before the AGM began.

Feedback has indicated this was a welcome move, and it was positive to get all staff together to celebrate the annual Long Service Awards.

The AGM itself also drew positive feedback. It was a chance to revisit another year of positive outcomes for families and people in Southland, and was highlighted by a talk by Buddy Programme Coordinator Rosanne Wybrow and Big Buddy Lloyd Esler, and from Jamie McDonald who spoke about the new interactive robotic seal – PARO – being used to benefit dementia residents at Iona.
