Children in playground by PSS

"Take care of our children. Take care of what they hear: take care of what they feel. For how the children grow, will be the shape of Aotearoa".

An inspirational and appropriate quote from one of our most famous kuia (female elder), Dame Whina Cooper, who led the land marches for Maori. She rightly draws attention to the plight of our tamariki (children) and mokopuna (grandchildren) in this fair land of Aotearoa. The challenge today applies to ALL children in this land and it is a timely reminder for us all.
