Retreat to Celebrate Foster Carers

The Celebrating Carers Family Retreat was held at the YMCA’s Omaui Camp on the weekend of 3 March. Over fifty children and their carers attended the celebration. It is thanks to the ILT Foundation this weekend was possible, and a testament to why funding is so important.

90 Year Old Finally Retires

A modern two-lane bridge has been constructed across the Kawarau River replacing the original and opened in May. At a cost of $21.9 million, the new bridge is an attempt to reduce traffic delays and increase safety. The original bridge will become a historic walkway.
