An Afternoon With the Sharks
Family Works staff, their families and several Big and Little Buddies enjoyed an afternoon with the SIT Zero Fees Southland Sharks recently, thanks to Crowe Horwath.
One of the Sharks’ sponsors, Crowe Horwath put on the
afternoon, which was a chance for Family Works staff and their families, as
well as several Big and Little Buddies involved with the Buddy Programme, to
shoot hoops and mingle with the basketball stars, as well as attend an
afternoon tea.
Programme Support Administrator for Family Works Carol Brown said the generous nature of Crowe Horwath’s offer was warmly received by staff, and their children and grandchildren who had a fantastic time.
“It was lovely for staff to be able to have such a fun afternoon together with their children and grandchildren, and they just loved being around the Sharks players,” she said.
