A Helping Hand at Christmas

Presbyterian Support Southland (PSS) look to support as many families as possible over the Christmas period. If you would like to help, there are a number of ways you can do so.

Christmas Tree at ILT Stadium Southland

The Waihopai Lions Club has donated a Christmas Tree to PSS as part of its Charity Event. Staff and residents have been decorating the tree which is currently on display at ILT Stadium Southland until the 23rd December. members of the public can place a donation in the box under the tree. This year donations will go towards Enliven services.

Donate Non-Perishable Food Items

Every year Family Works puts together food parcels for families in need. We are fortunate to have the support of a very generous community, and always appreciate donations of non-perishable food items that we can add to these parcels. Donations can be made to Central Office reception (183 Spey Street, Invercargill).

Donate Money for Food Parcels

If you prefer, you are able to make a financial donation so that Family Works can purchase items for food parcels on your behalf. Donations can be made at Central Office reception (183 Spey Street Invercargill), or contact us on 03 211 8200 or email enquiry@pss.org.nz.

Buy a gift for a child through the H&J Smith Christmas Tree Appeal

Shoppers at H&J Smith are invited to purchase gifts for children and place them under the Christmas tree in store. Note whether it is for a male or female and an approximate age, and the gift will be given to a child involved with the Family Works Family Start programme.

Support through your local Church

PSS are very appreciative of the generous support received through Churches every year, which includes the donation of gift boxes for children. Please contact your local Church if you would like to contribute through them.
