Covid-19 Level Three at PKB
UPDATE around Level three for the period of 29 April -11 May
Kia Ora Whanau,
It was great to catch up and find out how things are going with you all and how you are experiencing online learning. Thank you so much for all the positive comments, I have passed these on to the teachers.
I also want to thank you for completing the survey. We received information on 115 out a possible 173 students in a quick turn around period, so thank you very much for this. We have also made contact with the rest of our whanau to get a clear understanding of the needs. This has allowed us to make plans and decisions moving forward, for those children that need to be at school. Students that will be at school, will follow the online platform and be supervised around this. We will be in contact with the relevant parents on Tuesday 28th April about how things will look before we start on Wednesday.
There will only be one 'school bubble' which will be supervised by the leadership team. We will ensure that we follow the Ministry of Health guidelines, ensuring the safety of both the student and teacher.
There will be NO ONLINE TEACHING Monday 27 April and Tuesday 28 April 2020.
There will be no online teaching provided this coming Monday 27 April ( Anzac Day) and Tuesday 28 April ( Teacher only day). Staff will be attending virtual staff meetings as well as getting themselves ready for the next two weeks of online learning. Your children may wish to carry on with the shared activities provided either in Seesaw or in their Google classroom.
Waiho i te toipoto, kaua i te toiroa
Let us keep close together, not wide apart
Take care
Ngā mihi nui
