We use Hero to communicate with our whānau and its our also our reporting system.

Hero is our robust school's student management system. It enables teachers, students, and families to view and share content anytime, anywhere on any device. The software is secure, easy to use and brings together all school-related information in one place.

Parents, Caregivers and Whānau can use the Hero App to...

  • Respond to school notices such as surveys and trip permission requests (if needed)

  • Read and comment on posts relating to your child's learning

When can I expect a reporting update on Hero?

Every term, teachers share two learning posts combined with curriculum information and potential next steps for your child. With time, it forms an online report designed to build year on year so that over time you will have access to written posts, images, video, work samples, and helpful resources all in one place.

Individualised learning posts on Hero are written to provide you with real-time reporting, providing parents and whānau with immediate insights into their child's progress, achievements, and classroom experiences, fostering greater communication and involvement in their learning journey. Below is a chart to show which learning posts to expect each term. These will be published on your child's learning pages:
