Dance
Matilda Down recently competed at an “Impact” dance regional competition. By winning her section in her age group, she then qualified for the “Impact” dance Nationals.
The Nationals were held in Wellington last weekend, where Matilda competed against others of her own age across the country to battle it out for the top 3. Matilda came 2nd for the 10/11-year-olds performing a Jazz routine. Congratulations Matilda! Great result.
Lego and Coding workshops
Our tamariki were introduced to coding, giving them a chance to collaborate, problem-solve and then trial their new skills.
Waimapihi
Vera Pascoe shared her learning.
Today we got to do Lego decoding!!! It was amazing!! We had to be in groups of three, I was in a group with Darcy and Ollie. There was a builder, an engineer, and a supplier. Darcy was the builder, I was the supplier, and then we swapped. Ollie was the engineer and he didn't care where he was so he stayed there. this was the finished product
