Times have been tough the last few years and this has meant that our school has missed out on fundraising and therefore resources for our tamariki. In March next year, the school hopes to hold its infamous gala to raise some much-needed funds. While this may look a little different due to Covid-19, planning can, and needs to, start now!

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the largest event we hold both for School and in the Pukerua Bay Community. We need people with vision and enthusiasm to help bring the Gala back to life for 2022!

We do already have some superstars lined up to run approximately half of the stalls on the day (however this may look), but now we need additional enthusiastic parents as stall organisers as well as someone (or two?) to step up as chief Gala Coordinator. All these people will then form the gala committee that will be responsible for planning and overseeing the event.

The Gala has been running for many, many years and is a well-oiled machine with documentation on most aspects, so don’t be afraid of the unknown. If you put your hand up, there will be plenty of help and support available.

Every effort made and dollar raised directly benefits our kids’ education and school experience. Together, we can make a difference. So, please step up if you are able and help get some extra funding back into our school.
