Greetings to you all. I am a teacher of 30 years experience, mostly in the area of Juniors/ New Entrants. I am currently at Ashley School and prior to that have worked in many schools in the North Canterbury area. Kaiapoi is my birth place and North Canterbury is indeed my place of heart.

I am passionate about all things “learning”. How does the brain work? What is best practice? How do we provide the very best learning environments? And what are the pedagogies that support the most successful development of attitudes, skills and knowledge for all akōnga?

In between times I am a mother of 4 daughters (nearly all grown up!) and I spend time honing my “relationship - building” skills by spending social time with whānau, friends and colleagues.

Oh...I have a new fur child, and I love sport (watching).
