Our vision is Strong Community - Confident Future. We see our involvement with Puketeraki Community of Learning as a way to progress our vision.

Leithfield School is strongly committed to our Kahui Ako. Our Principal is a member of the leadership team, two of our Board of Trustee members have made themselves available for the Stewardship Committee, we have a Within School Lead Teacher as well as an Across School Lead Teacher within our staff. For a small school this is a huge commitment but we believe strongly in the potential of the Kahui Ako to make a difference for all the students of North Canterbury.

Puketeraki is the range of hills that borders our region on the western edge. They stand as guardians and provided guidance for travellers of an earlier time. Our hope is that Puketeraki Community of Learning can provide that same guidance and guardianship of all our educational learning journeys now and in the future.
