I am Louise Davy and I am a Year 7/8 teacher at Southbrook School in Rangiora. I have been teaching for 21 years and my passion is all things digital. Maker Space, Robotics, Google and Microsoft - I am trained in them all. I am a life long learner and I am happiest when I am learning new information.
This year I have been working with schools on student engagement. How best to engage our students? What is engagement? What do our students think is engagement?
Although I was born in Fairlie, I grew up in Timaru after a brief stint in Amberley where I spent a week at school aged 5! The love of my life apart from my husband is my 7 year old retired greyhound.
I love working collaboratively and am excited about the possibilities of this, working across Puketeraki Kahui Ako.
