I am all about promoting te reo and tikanga Māori to the next generation - an opportunity I never received during my schooling. As well as my role teaching in Rangiora Borough's Bilingual Unit,  I am an Across School Teacher in our Kāhui Āko. My current inquiry focus is Culturally Responsive Pedagogies. This is an area of need identified by many of our schools.

Through perception we are made aware and through awareness comes understanding. Through understanding comes knowledge and by knowing, we will thrive!
