Te Matauru Primary is a new school that opened as part of the Rangiora urban network in February 2020. The school name was gifted to the establishment board by Ngāi Tūahūriri and means "Eyes to the West", signifying our vantage point towards the western ranges. Te Matauru is a full primary school on the western end of Rangiora township situated in an area of new residential development. We are currently participating in a wide range of Kāhui Ako initiatives and look forward to strengthening these relationships in the years ahead.
