Kia ora koutou, I am Peter Courtney. I am one of the team of Across School Teachers for Puketeraki. I have been a member of the Rangiora High School staff since 2013, where I have worked as the Curriculum Leader of Media Studies and also as a Social Science teacher. My focus in 2018 was around senior transition of our tamariki from primary to secondary school, which really opened my eyes to the unique challenge and opportunity of this age group, and the huge possibilities for coherency across our sectors in what and how we teach. My other passion lines in creating relevant and engaging project based learning for students that get them excited about learning.

I am excited about this opportunity to meet and work collaboratively with the teachers of Te Kāhui Ako Puketeraki.
