Welcome to Belfast School Mrs Elley!

Belfast Reporters —

We all gave a big warm welcome to Sue Elley as Hornby high handed her over to us as part of Belfast School’s Mihi Whakatau.

We gathered in the Hall where Leanne Lewis took the lead as the Karanga calling in Mrs Elley, Hornby High School Teachers and their Kapa Haka group. The Head Boy from Hornby gave an amazing speech in te reo, and Brooklyn Harris spoke on behalf of Belfast.

We are all excited to have Mrs Elley as our Principal and we look forward to seeing the wonderful strengths she brings to Belfast School.
