World Vision Youth Conference
On Thursday 4th May, Mrs Cooper took four students, who are part of the larger Pūtahi Belfast World Vision team, to the World Vision Youth Conference which was held at the La Vida Conference Centre.
The conference engaged the students in social justice issues and inspired them with incredible speakers. It gave them great ideas and tools to support their leadership within school and also time as a team to discuss planning ideas for the upcoming World Vision 40 Hour Challenge.
The World Vision 40 Hour Challenge is being held 16th -18th July 2023. This year the fundraising focus is "to help change a child’s world with clean water". More information will be coming out over the next few weeks for any Year 5-8 students who would like to join the Pūtahi Belfast team for the 40 hour challenge this year.
It was a fantastic day, and the students who attended represented Pūtahi Belfast incredibly well!
