Pūtahi Belfast and Francis of Assisi Catholic School Filipino students have joined together to form a group who will take part in this years Aliwan Festival!

FESTIVAL DANCE COMPETITION & PARADE

Come to Riverside Market to experience a celebration of diverse Philippine Festivals to commemorate the local history and culture of each region in the Philippines. This is a free event so please come along and support our amazing students!

Festival Agenda

• 12:00 PM: Festival Walk/Parade: Kick off the day with a vibrant and colourful Festival Walk display around Riverside.

• 1:00 PM: Aliwan Festival: Witness the spectacular Aliwan Festival, showcasing the best of Philippine Festival Dance Competitions. Enjoy the stunning performances and cultural displays that highlight the rich heritage of the Philippines.

• Guest Performances: Our guest performance will add an extra sparkle to the festivities. Be prepared to be amazed and entertained by talented artists and performers.

• Awarding Ceremony: Cheer on the winners and participants as we honour their hard work and dedication.

• 4:00 PM: Program Conclusion: Our event will wrap up by 4pm, Don't miss out on this incredible celebration!
