The PTA have had an excellent start to 2025! We would really like to extend our thanks to all students, parents/caregivers and staff for getting behind us and supporting our fundraisers - it makes such a difference to the school that we can be called on to assist with funding for extra educational resources, equipment and sporting/cultural opportunities and trips.

We are always looking for more members to help us out so you are welcome to come along to our next meeting on Wednesday 9th April at 6pm in the Senior Campus Staff Room.

We are excited to give you an update on our recent fundraising efforts:

Mitre10 Community BBQ 

Students, families and staff members put in amazing work at Mitre10 Mega Papanui selling sausage's and representing Pūtahi Belfast School. This is such a great way to get out into our community and fundraise; we have another booked for September. Despite the (very) hot weather we made a profit of $355.

CookieTime Rookie Cookies

The cookies have landed! These will be packaged up and delivered to classrooms on Monday. We sold an outstanding 278 bags (or 5560 cookies) and we have raised a total of $1,749.02.

Card Bingo Night

For those who attended I am sure everyone can agree this was an incredibly fun night. Again, it was fabulous having an event with high community involvement. There was Bingo, Horse Racing (yes, you read that right) and Raffles galore! We had A LOT of local businesses support us with the donation of prizes which was incredible. We've initially calculated a profit of $2,496 and fair few requests for another night to be held.
