Last Sunday 11th August, Amelia Brittan, a Year 3 from Belfast School competed in a Canterbury Schools Competition at Mount Cheeseman. The weather played it's part with some fresh snow over night.  Amelia did compete but she fell near the top of the course and missed a gate so was disqualified. She didn't fall on her second run but had been already disqualified. She didn’t care as you can see by the smile on her face.  She hadn’t managed to get to a practice day so that was the first time she had been down a race course so she did really well.
