Our prefects and House Leaders were invited to the Board meeting to share their leadership camp experiences.

This morning our student leaders attended  the Community Board  meeting to thank the Board for helping to fund the leadership camp  they attended last term.  Each student shared a reflection on what they had learnt from the camp and how  the new skills they had developed were helping them in both their school leadership role and  at home.    The leadership camp focused on learning about the  7 Habits of Highly Effective People  which comes from the work of Stephen Covey.   Two habits mentioned by the students were Being Proactive  and Thinking Win-Win.   The Board asked some questions and were impressed by the children's presentations.   They were great role models for our school.    Thank you to the parents who helped with transport.
