The Year 3 and 4 students in Room 10 have been learning about Matariki over the past couple of weeks.

Hiwa-i-te-rangi is one of the 9 stars in the Matariki star cluster. It is known as the ‘wishing star’.

This star has a connection to our hopes, dreams and aspirations for the year ahead. Attached our our own wishing stars. These are our wishes for the future. 

It was also great to see some parents and even grandparents join thei child today for some shared kai.
