Every week the children in Room 1 look forward to their Friday afternoon visit to the library.

The school library is a fantastic resource available to all students. For the New Entrants it provides a wide variety of picture books  they can  borrow to take home and share.  The children love to spend time searching for just the right story. For some the amount of choice can be overwhelming! Before our library sessions we spend time talking about library rules - walking feet, quiet voices and using our manners when we speak to the lovely librarian Mrs Symes. The children learn to respect and look after the precious books so they are available for others to share.
