If your child is biking to school, please check that:

• Your child wears a helmet (compulsory by law)

• Your child’s bike is roadworthy and meets the standard in the Road Code

• Your child knows how to ride properly (is the bike the right size?)

• You have practised getting to and from school together.

Regular checks of your child’s bike should be done. It is also a recommendation that children under 10 do not ride to and from school.

Our Year 6 students participate in the Christchurch City Council Cycle safe programme.

Please park your bikes and scooters in;

• the allocated bike stands on the Junior Campus or

• in the Bike and Scooter parking on the Senior Campus.
