First Aid and Sick Children

There is a Sick Bay at school for children who are unwell or have had minor accidents at school. Wherever possible, Parents will be contacted if the problem is of a serious nature. If Parents are unable to be contacted, the emergency contact will be rung immediately. If no contact is made to either the Parents or emergency contact then Staff will take all necessary steps. This may include transport to a Doctor or hospital. The Sick Bay is well equipped and Staff are qualified in First Aid.

It is important that the school is informed of any special medical conditions and the appropriate action to be taken if necessary.
