There are so many cool things happening at Queen’s through our pasifika mentoring programmes.

Ana Mapusua, who mentors our seniors, brings in inspirational guest speakers every few weeks. Last week we were lucky enough to hear Talai Mapusua. Talai works at the University of Otago and discussed the many opportunities available to our girls, and to also encourage them to not be afraid to change pathways if they find something different to be passionate about.

We are also lucky to work with the Otago Samoan Students’ Association through their Tū Malosi Fa’atasi programme. This aims to get students to explore their identities, their hopes, and build resilience. We’d like to thank the OSSA and Aysia Paeu for contacting us to offer support.
