The Queen’s High School Athletics Championships and House Fun Day will now be held on Wednesday 24 February at the Caledonian Sports Ground.

This is a school day and all students are to attend. If the weather is not suitable a notice will be emailed and will be on the school Facebook page, by 7:30am. If the athletics sports are postponed, students are to come prepared for a normal school day.

The students are to be at school by 8.40am for form time. Rolls will be taken and we will be boarding the buses at 9.00am and returning to school by 2.50pm.

The students will be competing in both competitive and fun events for their houses and therefore need to arrive at school in suitable sports clothing representing their house colours.

Students need to bring their own food and plenty of water for the day. There is no canteen at the Caledonian, however, the Queen’s High School Interact Club will be providing a cash only ‘Snack Stall’ at interval and lunch break. Please ensure the students bring a hat and sun screen.

The cost for the bus and hire of the Caledonian will be met by the school.
