On Tuesday last week, seven students from Year 10 attended a problem-solving challenge at the Art Gallery, called the Growing NZ Innovation Challenge.

This involved trying to solve real problems that farmers are challenged by every day. They want young people to try to solve these problems because we have younger minds and we come up with solutions that adults might not.  There were around six different schools attending and we were put into groups of four (at least two schools per group) to work together to try to find a solution. 

The event was really fun because we got to work with people we didn't know and we came up with lots of ideas together.
