Queen’s High School Pathway Planning Evening 2021

Lesley Signal- Cambridge —

Wednesday 8 September 7.00 pm, School Hall.

Over the coming months, students from Years 10, 11 and 12 will need to select the subjects that will make up their course of study for 2022. Year 9 students will make their choices for 2022 in early Term 4, once they have experienced all options available this year.

This of course means that the students will need to consider more than simply what subjects to study next year, but at where they would like their pathway to lead into the future, and what they need to do in order to have a range of options available in order that they can ‘live the life they want to live.”

To help with this decision making process, we will again be holding a Pathway Planning evening at which they and you, their whānau, can meet with and talk to

  • Senior staff from each subject area here at school.

  • Ex-girls, who can share their experiences and insights into career planning and share their learning and life experiences.

  • Representatives of various tertiary institutions and some employment groups.

Supper is provided.

To help parents have useful conversations with young people about their strengths, interests and subject choices, visit the following sites, which have excellent resources to support you.
