On Saturday some Queen’s girls joined up with Columba & Bayfield French students to watch a special showing of Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion. This was followed by games and food at the Alliance Française clubrooms.

21 girls from Years 10 -13 saw an unconventional French drama (Last Year at Marienbad) on Tuesday morning. With English subtitles a lot of the French was comprehensible, but the plot left many of us still wondering. Unfortunately this was not the movie which was supposed to be showing. For those who wish to see more French films they continue at Reading until Wednesday 27th. In particular Two is a Family (23rd at 6pm) and In Your Hands (24th at 7:45pm) look suitable for and would appeal to many teenagers (& adults!)
