Any young women, aged 15-18, who may be interested in participating in this free 10 day online Girl Boss Edge: Finance & Technology programme, which runs from October 8th - 17th, ( with a commitment of just 1 - 2 hours per day, and can be done at any time, from anywhere) should apply before 12 September. It takes just 10 minutes to apply!

This is a great opportunity for a young woman to develop her leadership and enterprise skills whilst connecting with a tribe of like minds who can support her on her journey,

She can also develop authentic career connections via 1:1 mentoring sessions with inspirational role models at ANZ Bank.

Defence Force Careers Experience

The Defence Careers Experience (DCE) are holding a FREE 3 day event (5–7 October) at Burnham Military Camp. It is designed to show you what it's like to be in the NZ Army, Air Force and Navy.

Registrations are now open for this event.

The DCE is great for gaining an insight to what all 3 services have to offer as a potential career option, with leadership and resilience skills development, and the chance to mix and mingle with like minded people. It's for people from all walks of life, and anyone with a bit of fitness, aptitude, and motivation can do the programme.

If you are selected to attend the event and you are located outside of the Canterbury region, transport will be arranged for you by NZDF – you will only need to get yourself to your local airport or bus station.
